The Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center (AATTC) invites you to attend our 29th Annual Tactics and Intelligence Symposium 21-25 June 2010 at Rosecrans ANGB in Saint Joseph, Missouri. As in the past, this event promotes finding solutions to today’s tactical challenges by providing participants the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts and vendors as well as network with fellow mobility professionals. The theme for this year is “Back to Basics ~~ Time to Share,” with presentations focusing on TTPs, MAF defensive systems, and intelligence from the US and our four eyes allies.

 

CLASSIFICATION - All briefings at this year’s event will be classified up to the secret level releasable to U.S., Australia, Canada, and Great Britain and will only be available to personnel with verified security clearances.

 

REGISTRATION - Symposium registration will begin on March 1st. Anyone planning to attend is invited to register as soon as possible to help us ensure a high quality event. US Military and DOD personnel are encouraged to register online via the AATTC Symposium CoP website - https://afkm.wpafb.af.mil/aattc-s . INPUTS - To enhance the value and interest level of the symposium we request all units forward any relevant topics for discussion and/or briefings you wish to present. Forward any submissions to Lt Col Eric Thompson, eric.thompson@mostjo.ang.af.mil 816-236-3454 (DSN: 356-3454) no later than 10 May 2010.

 

LODGING – Attendees must make their own lodging arrangements as on-base lodging is not available. Rooms have been blocked at the following hotels: Holiday Inn Downtown (816-279-8000) and the Ramada Inn / Waterpark (816-233-6192). Be sure to mention you are attending the AATTC Symposium to obtain the government rate. Both hotels are within 15 minutes drive from the base.

 

TRAVEL - Suggested means of travel is civilian air to Kansas City International Airport (MCI), then via rental car to St. Joseph (35 minute drive). If attendees are planning to arrive at Rosecrans ANGB via military air they must contact AATTC for approval and coordination. January 21st and 25th are recommended as travel days. Briefings will conclude no later than 1600L on 24 June.

 

FUNDING - This is a unit funded TDY. There will be a partially refundable conference fee that will be collected upon arrival during registration. Military orders should show Saint Joseph, Missouri as the TDY location.
